The Latest Limited-Time Event in The Finals is… Basketball?

THE FINALS season seven has introduced an exciting limited-time event named Super Cashball, which revitalizes the competitive atmosphere within the Arena. This update also features an array of new cosmetic items and a set of balancing adjustments.

On July 24, THE FINALS unveiled Super Cashball, a dynamic ball game hosted on the specially designed Cashball Stadium map. The gameplay mirrors that of basketball: players retrieve the ball from the center of the Arena, collaborate with teammates to pass, and aim to score in the rival team’s goal. Each successful pass between players charges the ball, increasing its point value upon scoring.

This game mode offers a unique blend of sportsmanship and teamwork, differing from other modes (with the exception of passing the Cash Box in World Tour). Highlights include a brief halftime to reset the Arena, opportunities for last-minute scoring, designated penalty zones near the goals, and even overtime play.

Players can still engage in combat to eliminate opponents, but the weapon loadouts are tailored for each character class and primarily emphasize melee combat. Light class characters utilize Evasive Dash with a Dagger. Medium class characters are geared towards ball escorting with tools like the Winch Claw, Riot Shield, and Zipline. Heavy class characters serve as dedicated defenders or goalkeepers, equipped with the Sledgehammer and Lockbolt.

By participating in the event, players can accumulate tickets for the Super Cashball Wheel, which offers exclusive rewards. This wheel has appeared in previous THE FINALS events, such as the Valentine’s Day celebration, and collecting all available rewards unlocks the Zone Enforcer outfit.
