Finding the Caduceus and Its Usage in Titan Quest 2
The Caduceus can be located in a minor bandit encampment, where you’ll encounter only a handful of foes, located northeast of Pyrgos in the Southern Flooded Farmland region. You have the option to navigate directly through the marsh or head northward, aligning with the «The Search For the Sky God» quest before moving directly east.
After acquiring the Caduceus, proceed to the Shrieking Shrine, which lies northwest of Pyrgos, further north than the location where you found the Caduceus. Insert the staff into the pedestal at the Shrine’s center to commence the quest titled «The Trickster Shrine.»
The Beast Hermes Transformed into a Lyre in Titan Quest 2
This quest is relatively brief but hinges on your knowledge of which beast was slain by Hermes first. The answer can be found on a largely damaged scroll near the pots to the right of the pedestal, indicating it is a turtle. Exit the Shrieking Shrine heading south to locate a turtle by the entrance, but refrain from killing it.
If you’ve already defeated all the nearby turtle enemies, you can quickly respawn them by reloading your game from the main menu.
Upon spotting a turtle, you’ll need to attract it back to the Shrine while keeping it alive until you arrive. The turtle poses minimal threat, regardless of your stats, and if you position yourself directly in front of it without sprinting ahead, it will follow you effortlessly. As it nears the shrine, a glow will indicate it’s safe to defeat the turtle.
