A NAVI fan zone opened in Kyiv on August 24, giving visitors a chance to see trophies spanning more than a decade of the Ukrainian esports organization’s competitive history. The exhibition at Hotel Ukraine will remain open through September 6 with free admission.

At least six NAVI trophies from different eras and esports titles are on display. The collection includes two particularly significant pieces: the trophy from The International 2011 in Dota 2 and the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 trophy from Counter-Strike 2.

The Copenhagen title marked one of NAVI’s defining achievements with its international CS2 lineup. The team defeated Eternal Fire in the quarterfinals and G2 in the semifinals before facing FaZe in the grand final. NAVI won the best-of-three series 2-1, taking Ancient, losing Mirage and closing the championship on Inferno. The victory earned the organization $500,000.

PGL Major Copenhagen also carried broader significance for Counter-Strike. It was the first Major held in CS2, and its NAVI-FaZe grand final became the tournament’s most-watched match, peaking at more than 1.84 million viewers.

Another centerpiece of the NAVI fan zone dates back to the early days of modern esports. NAVI won the inaugural The International in 2011, when Valve staged its first flagship Dota 2 tournament at Gamescom in Cologne. The lineup defeated EHOME in the final, establishing NAVI as one of the defining organizations of Dota 2’s formative competitive era.

The Kyiv exhibition therefore connects two milestones separated by more than a decade: NAVI’s victory at the first The International and its championship at the first Counter-Strike 2 Major. Visitors can also enter a giveaway for official NAVI merchandise.

Maksym Krippa, the owner of NAVI and Hotel Ukraine, is also connected to several major Ukrainian technology and entertainment businesses through his investment portfolio. The hotel was acquired in a state privatization auction in 2024, while Krippa’s other assets include S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developer GSC Game World, mobile game studio Burny Games and esports broadcast company Maincast. The fan zone brings two of these assets together, using the Kyiv landmark as a public venue for NAVI’s competitive history.

The NAVI fan zone is located at Hotel Ukraine, 4 Alley of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes in central Kyiv. It will be open daily from 10:00 through September 6.
