The list of teams qualified for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship continues to take shape as regional playoffs enter their decisive stages. Cybersport In reports, citing Sheep Esports, that all four LCK representatives have now been confirmed, while G2 Esports and Karmine Corp have secured the first two European spots at Worlds 2026.
South Korea will send Hanwha Life Esports, Gen.G, T1 and Dplus KIA to the World Championship. The LCK received four Main Event slots this season, and all four representatives will advance directly to the main stage.
Hanwha Life Esports became the first LCK team to secure a place at Worlds 2026. Gen.G later confirmed their qualification with a 3-0 victory over KT Rolster in the LCK playoffs, a result that also guaranteed T1 a top-four finish and therefore a World Championship berth.
Dplus KIA completed the Korean lineup after securing the final available LCK spot. T1, Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports and Dplus KIA will represent South Korea at Worlds 2026.
The European qualification race is also approaching its final stage. G2 Esports secured their Worlds berth after sweeping Team Vitality 3-0 in the LEC Summer playoffs. Karmine Corp followed with a 3-1 victory over GIANTX.
G2 Esports and Karmine Corp have already qualified for Worlds 2026 from the LEC. The two teams then met in the Upper Bracket Final, where G2 won 3-1 to advance to the LEC Summer Grand Final and secure direct entry into the Worlds Swiss Stage.
Europe still has another World Championship place to determine, meaning the final LEC lineup is not yet complete.
Qualification is also continuing in other major regions. The final field will include representatives from the LPL, LCS, LCP and CBLOL alongside the qualified LCK and LEC teams. A total of 19 teams will compete at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship.
Riot Games adjusted the regional allocation for Worlds earlier this year. Three teams each qualify from the LCK, LPL, LEC, LCS and LCP, while CBLOL receives two places. Two additional slots are tied to the results of Mid-Season Invitational 2026, bringing the overall field to 19 teams.
With the LCK lineup now complete and the first European representatives confirmed, the Worlds 2026 participant list will continue to fill up as regional playoffs conclude throughout September.
The 2026 League of Legends World Championship is scheduled to run from October 15 to November 14 in the United States.
