Today’s forecast suggests a slight chance of intense bullet fire.
Challenges play a significant role in the progression system of Battlefield 6. They provide experience points (XP), unlock cosmetic items, and new weapons across different categories. For fans of light machine guns (LMGs), the initial tasks to take on are part of the Bullet Storm assignment.
Bullet Storm is a weapon assignment dedicated to LMGs. It becomes available at Rank 23 and consists of two stages, each with two tasks. Completing both stages grants access to the KTS100 MK8 and M240L machine guns, respectively.
Here’s a guide on how to successfully complete the Bullet Storm challenges in Battlefield 6.
Overview of Bullet Storm challenges and how to achieve them in Battlefield 6
Stage One
The initial stage includes some of the most challenging tasks in the game. Successfully completing these will reward you with the KTS100 MK8 light machine gun.
Here are the specific tasks:
- Suppress 300 enemies with LMGs.
- Inflict 10,000 damage with LMGs while hip-firing.
Suppressing fire occurs when you shoot in the direction of an enemy from a distance of 30 meters or more without making contact. After firing approximately five to ten rounds, the Enemy Suppression tag will appear at the bottom left of your screen, awarding you points. Additionally, you can earn more points with Squad Suppression Assist and other assists while suppressing enemies.
To accomplish the second challenge, utilize hip-fire with LMGs. It’s advisable to use laser sights and flashlights when available to enhance hip-fire accuracy. The easiest way to complete these challenges is by engaging against bots in Portal servers. You can attempt to connect to a server from the server browser if you manage to bypass the Global Game Quota Exceeded error.
Stage Two
The second stage is significantly simpler and allows more freedom in gameplay. The only requirement is to use one of the specified weapons. Completing this stage grants the M240L light machine gun and the Enforcer player card title.
Here are the tasks for this stage:
- Inflict 7,000 damage using the RPKM or KTS100 MK8.
- Achieve 15 multi-kills with LMGs.
Inflicting damage with the RPKM or KTS100 MK8 is straightforward. Select one of the LMGs (the KTS100 MK8 is accessible after completing the first stage), equip it with attachments, and deal as much damage as possible.
For multi-kills, you need to secure three or more kills in rapid succession. You have nearly a three-second window between kills before you must restart the count. Once again, the best way to achieve these is in matches against bots.
