This latest League update incorporates the usual array of buffs, nerfs, and item modifications, with particular emphasis on redefining ability power items. The aim is to balance different AP character types while monitoring the usage of favored items like Liandry’s, ensuring a healthy competitive environment for all players. The developers noted that the previous patch was well-received regarding item and system changes.

League updates are typically rolled out on Wednesdays, and this trend will continue with the upcoming patches. The release is slated for May 14, 2025. While the specific release times for each region remain unconfirmed, the anticipated schedules are as follows:

What’s Included in Patch 25.10?
Patch 25.10 entails a significant revision of mana items tailored for mages, accompanied by overall buffs to strengthen mage items across champions. The developers aim to provide distinct power progressions to AP classes: Assassins and fighters will have access to more affordable starting items with lower scaling. In contrast, control and artillery mages will require higher investments but will experience greater power spikes with two items, while standard AD champions peak with three items.
Buffs for Champions
The following champions will receive buffs in League Patch 25.10:
Senna
Senna’s performance as an AD bot has been lacking; therefore, improvements to her Soul drop mechanic from minion kills will help enhance her build.
The Soul drop rate from minion or monster kills has been boosted from 8.4% to 14%.
- [P] Absolution: Crit chance per 20 souls increased from 8% to 10%.
- [Q] Piercing Darkness: Heal AP ratio reduced from 60% to 50%.
Smolder
[Q] Super Scorcher Breath
- Damage per stack increased from 0.3 to 0.4.
- Max HP burn damage per 100 stacks raised from 0.4% to 0.5%.

Fiddlesticks’ support role is gaining traction, so minor buffs are in place to assist players in choosing him.

- Fear duration adjusted from 1.25-2.25 to 1.2-2.0.
- Damage modified from 5-9% + 2% per 100 AP to 4-6% + 3% per 100 AP (empowered is double).
[W] Bountiful Harvest: Damage per second increased from 60-180 +35% AP to 60-180 +40% AP.
Vi
Vi’s damage is receiving slight reductions to balance her overall power.
[Q] Vault Breaker
- Maximum damage increased from 90-290 +1.6 to 100-300 +1.5.
- Minimum damage decreased from 45-145 +0.8 to 40-120 +0.6.
[R] Cease and Desist
- Damage lowered from 150/275/400 to 150/250/350.
- Mana cost standardized from 100/125/150 to a flat 100.

- Cryptbloom: Now focused on AP Haste (serving as a counterpart to Void Staff). It’s easier to build but offers less burst potential due to lower Magic Penetration.
- Rocketbelt: Buffed for assassins–HP reduced from 350 to 300 to better accommodate squishier champions.
- Stormsurge: Revised to function as a more affordable, snowball-focused second item, offering mobility and less burst than Shadowflame.
