This organizational change aims to enhance SIS’s growth in Competitive Gaming.
SIS (Sports Information Services), a prominent player in live wagering and gaming content, has unveiled a noteworthy leadership restructuring aimed at strengthening its Competitive Gaming sector. Three internal figures–Peter Camden, Stephen Maguire, and Aaron St Pierre–have been tasked with leading critical segments of the esports division as the company aims to expand on a global scale.
This strategy represents a significant step in SIS’s mission to advance its esports betting offerings, which are increasingly favored by both operators and participants.
Peter Camden takes on the role of Head of Competitive Gaming Product, where he will direct product innovation and development. Stephen Maguire has been appointed as Head of Competitive Gaming Operations, overseeing SIS’s expanding range of esports content. Meanwhile, Aaron St Pierre has been elevated to Head of Sports Trading, where he will handle market pricing and ensure trading integrity.
Collectively, these individuals bring extensive experience from multiple international markets, including Asia, the Americas, and Europe, and have played instrumental roles in scaling the company’s esports business to its current state.
In an official announcement, SIS COO Andy Purkiss commended the new appointees, noting that they have been «essential in enhancing Competitive Gaming’s broad offerings» throughout the company’s betting network.
«Their leadership, knowledge, and enthusiasm for the product give us confidence that we will generate even greater value for our partners, expanding our reach in key markets while establishing a benchmark for integrity-driven, data-rich betting content,» he remarked.
SIS’s competitive gaming product offers non-stop, short-form betting content, featuring eBasketball and eSoccer matches. These events are conducted in a controlled studio setting and supervised by referees, ensuring fairness and adherence to regulations.
As esports betting gains traction among sportsbook operators, stimulated by the rising popularity of titles like VALORANT, League of Legends, and Counter-Strike, SIS’s concentrated effort on leadership and operational excellence illustrates its intent to remain a formidable presence in this field.
