Locating the Lightzen Key in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers features numerous crucial items that players are required to find to advance through the game. Although it offers some guidance on where to head next, it lacks a map or menu systems to assist players in locating these vital items.

The Lightzen Temple is the third primary location players encounter after defeating the initial boss. In this area, there’s a locked door that hinders progress, which can only be unlocked using the Lightzen Key. Before starting your search, consider leveling up since a boss is guarding this key.

Locating the Lightzen Key in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

To get the Lightzen Key, begin at the Lightzen Shrine located at the center of the temple, which can also be accessed via fast travel from another shrine. Immediately turn around and head towards the stairs going upward, following them through the building until you reach the courtyard on the opposite side. Within this courtyard, two enemies await; one is lying on the ground to your right, who will rise and attack while you are engaged with the first enemy.

On the right side of the courtyard, you can find a golden chest that contains a Lost Remembrance.

Proceed through the courtyard to the other side, where a path leads down and around the next building of the Shrine. At the far end of this building lies another courtyard, though it serves as a boss room, so be sure to restore your health before you enter. The Lightzen Key is obtained by defeating Master Raider – Man-eating Dhutanga.

Strategies for Confronting Master Raider – Man-eating Dhutanga

Master Raider wields a large weapon, which causes him to move slower than Wuchang. During the initial part of the battle, he will use basic swings and some jumping attacks. When he does jump, remember to dodge towards him, as it takes him a moment to turn around, allowing you to land a few hits based on your weapon.

Equip armor with good fire resistance, as his weapon can be lit on fire partway through the fight. This will only add fire damage to his attacks, and as long as the burn icon does not fill up, you will not suffer from burns. He only has a chance to ignite his weapon, and by maintaining close proximity and continuing to attack, you can distract him enough to prevent him from igniting it, making the second half of the battle easier.

Utilizing the Lightzen Key in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

If you’ve defeated the boss and acquired the key but are unsure of what it unlocks, return to the Lightzen Temple Shrine. From the Shrine, turn away from the staircase leading to the boss and move straight ahead to the locked gate located at the far end of the Temple grounds. Interact with the door to use the key, opening it to progress to the next major area.
