Ninjas in Pyjamas is preparing to commemorate an impressive 25 years in the realm of competitive gaming.
On November 5, the organization will host a special anniversary showmatch sponsored by Rainbet, featuring a clash between legendary veterans and some of the best current Counter-Strike players. The match will be streamed live at 11am CT on NIP’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
This unique event will see the current NIP roster battle against a lineup of iconic players from the organization’s history, including the renowned duo of Patrik «f0rest» Lindberg and Christopher «GeT_RiGhT» Alesund. This pair dominated the esports arena, holding the record for the longest winning streak in Counter-Strike history with 87 consecutive victories from August 2012 to April 2013.
In anticipation of the milestone, f0rest expressed his excitement, stating, «I’m really looking forward to celebrating this significant moment with my former teammates from over a decade ago. We secured a Major title and established a winning record that still stands. Now, we’re ready to demonstrate that we still have what it takes against the remarkable talent that represents NIP today.»
From the current generation, NIP’s lineup includes stars such as Rasmus «sjuush» Beck, Artem «r1nkle» Moroz, and Kacper «xKacpersky» Gabara. IGL Ksenia «vilga» Klyuenkova and Mia «aiM» Cooper from NIP Impact will also take part.

The showmatch will follow a best-of-three format, and if the outcome is a 2-0 scoreline, fans can expect an exhilarating bonus round where NIP Legends and current players will team up on opposing sides.
Only a select number of fans will be able to witness the event live at a watch party being held at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Stockholm. F0rest will be present and streaming from the venue.
