However, finding the Book of Bones requires some luck, as it spawns randomly in Ancient Luggage and Ancient Statues scattered throughout the game world.

Where to find the Book of Bones in PEAK
The Book of Bones can be found randomly in two types of containers: Ancient Luggage and Ancient Statues.
Ancient Luggage serves as the primary source for obtaining the Book of Bones. Keep an eye out for large suitcases secured with chains featuring a unique red crystal in the center. You can acquire the Book of Bones from these containers, but only if all teammates are still alive when the suitcase is opened.
Similarly, Ancient Statues may also yield this book, but this only occurs if every player in the group is alive at the moment they interact with the statue. If any teammate is down or eliminated, then no mystical rewards will be available from these statues.
Given the random nature of the drop, it’s advisable to thoroughly explore and interact with every Ancient Luggage and Statue you encounter to enhance your chances of securing this mystical item.
How to use the Book of Bones in PEAK
The Book of Bones has two main functions within PEAK:
Once you acquire the book, you can revive a deceased teammate. To do this, approach their skeleton lying on the ground, then interact with the Book of Bones. This will bring them back as a skeleton, but they will be susceptible to fall damage and other dangers.
Alternatively, you can use the book on yourself, even if no teammates require revival. This will transform you into a skeleton, allowing you to forgo certain basic survival needs such as hunger and poison. However, this comes with the significant risk of dying from minor damage.
Using the Book of Bones will also grant you the Applied Esoterica Badge and unlock the Skeleton Top cosmetic. It’s important to note that this badge cannot be obtained while playing solo, as it requires multiplayer participation. Using the book on yourself will not contribute to earning the badge.
