Destiny Rising Artifacts: Detailed Guide on Stats, Farming Strategies, and Additional Insights

Destiny: Rising is an engaging gacha title where players not only seek powerful weapons but also strive to enhance their characters’ strength through Artifacts. These essential items provide passive boosts to stats, but acquiring the top-tier ones can involve some luck.

If you’re venturing into the gacha scene for the first time, here’s a brief overview of how Artifacts function in Destiny: Rising and tips for obtaining them.

Understanding Artifacts in Destiny Rising

Every character has four slots for Artifacts, each associated with a different pool of options. In contrast to many other gacha games, there are no set bonuses for Artifacts in Destiny: Rising. This means you don’t need to match Artifacts from the same collection to boost your power; you can concentrate solely on individual Artifacts and their unique statistics.

Each Artifact in Destiny: Rising features the following attributes:

  • Power: The total power derived from this piece.
  • Gear level: The level of the Artifact itself.
  • Attributes: Stats that enhance the character’s damage, defense, and other abilities.
  • Set Effect: The unique ability of the Artifact.
  • Set Effect Level: The strength of the Artifact’s effect determined by overall Attribute Points.

When selecting Artifacts for your characters, the most crucial elements to consider are the Set Effects and Attributes. The Set Effect refers to the Artifact’s unique ability, which should align with the character’s playstyle. For instance, Nimble Veil offers damage reduction for a few seconds after executing movement abilities, which pairs effectively with Wolf, as the Wolf’s Strike ability can reset if an enemy is defeated, leading to consistent Artifact enhancement.

Next on the list are the Attributes. Depending on its rarity, each Artifact can have multiple Attributes, and it’s important to choose one that complements your character’s abilities. For example, Wolf benefits from Ability Strength, Signature Boost, and Overshield Bonus, as his kit is tailored for frequent ability use and gaining overshields with the first Relic trait.

Tips for Finding the Ideal Artifact:

The game features a Recommended tab to show which Artifacts align best with specific characters. It marks the necessary stats for each character with a thumbs-up icon to assist players.

How to Acquire Artifacts in Destiny Rising

The Artifacts can be obtained through the Realm of the IX adventures in Destiny: Rising. There are three primary activities available to earn new Artifacts, including both one-time rewards and repeatable tasks that require Pinnacle Energy.

The activities within the Realm of the IX include:

  • Singularity: Order
  • Singularity: Chaos
  • The Expanse

Singularity: Order consists of a series of one-time encounters where players can familiarize themselves with various gifts and buffs. These tasks do not require Pinnacle Energy and reward Artifact Engrams, which can be exchanged for a choice of Artifact.

Singularity: Chaos is a repeatable roguelike challenge, where players navigate through a series of randomly generated rooms to collect rewards at the conclusion for 10-20 Pinnacle Energy. Players may either continue or exit if they run low on Pinnacle Energy. Before initiating a run, players can select desired Artifacts to increase their chances of acquisition.

Additionally, The Expanse activity will unlock as the player base reaches Team Level 66. This appears to be a more advanced task with multiple stages featuring tougher adversaries, as well as improved rewards and methods to enhance Artifacts further.
