100 Thieves captured the VALORANT championship at the Esports World Cup 2026, defeating reigning VALORANT Champions 2025 winners NRG by a 3-1 scoreline in the Grand Final to secure the organization’s first-ever international trophy.
The victory earned 100 Thieves $600,000 in prize money and the maximum 1,000 Club Championship points, while NRG finished second with $340,000 and 750 points. Nongshim RedForce completed the podium with a third-place finish.
Matthew «Cryocells» Panganiban was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player after delivering consistently strong performances throughout the event and playing a key role in the team’s championship run.
The title was also a milestone for Peter «Asuna» Mazuryk. The player of Ukrainian descent has represented 100 Thieves since 2020, remaining with the organization through multiple roster rebuilds and several disappointing international campaigns. Winning the Esports World Cup marked the first major international trophy of his career.
The championship highlighted 100 Thieves’ return to the top tier of competitive VALORANT. After several seasons without a significant international result, the North American organization finally converted its potential into a title on one of the biggest stages in esports.
With the VALORANT competition concluded, the Esports World Cup Club Championship continues across the remaining disciplines, where every tournament will influence the race for the overall club title.
