The recently launched Zooseum expansion for the popular simulation game, Two Point Museum, aims to enhance the gaming experience by introducing the exciting challenge of finding and managing rare and exotic animals. Players must navigate the complexities of not only discovering these creatures but also caring for them, breeding them, and ensuring they attract visitors to their museum.
With this new expansion comes a wealth of additional content. Central to the Zooseum experience is the acquisition of various animals, reptiles, and insects, which players will need to understand in order to fully engage with the expansion and complete their exhibits. Gaining insight on unlocking all available exhibits is crucial for those looking to maximize their gameplay.
To progress within the Zooseum and unlock its captivating exhibits, players must advance through the DLC’s storyline, ultimately reaching Curator Class six. Achieving this class is essential, as it grants access to the final exhibit, the sought-after Painted Panda, which requires players to earn at least the first four stars at their museum.
In order to earn stars and succeed in the Zooseum, players will need to care for a variety of unusual animals. They can acquire these creatures through various methods, including sending staff on expeditions via helicopter or utilizing Sanctuary Points to adopt animals they have discovered. Completing specific objectives will further unlock new locations and opportunities for exploration, allowing players to seek out points of interest marked on their maps.
Sanctuary Points can also be accumulated by releasing animals back into their natural habitats. The value of the released animals increases based on their time spent in captivity, any breeding that occurred, and whether they have received special treatment, such as a spa day.
To achieve a five-star rating in the Zooseum, players must unlock a variety of exhibits and discover over 40 different types of animals. These creatures are categorized according to their housing requirements, either in terrariums or larger habitats. As players advance, they will begin by managing smaller creatures, which are generally easier to maintain, before tackling the challenges presented by larger animals.
Among the 22 terrarium exhibit types available are species like the Beardy Lizard, Blue Hedgehog, and various insects, each located in distinct environments conducive to their well-being. Players will also encounter larger animals that necessitate spacious habitats, where they can comfortably thrive according to their individual needs.
Crucially, one of the highlights of the Zooseum is the pursuit of the elusive Painted Panda, which is integrated into the expansion’s light storyline. To find this animal, players must work diligently to reach a four-star rating at Silverbottom Park, with a minimum Curator Class VI required. Once the necessary criteria are met, players can embark on expeditions to the Bumbling Bush, where there’s a chance to rescue a panda, although collecting experience points is more common during these excursions.
By strategically managing resources, completing objectives, and caring for a diverse array of animals, players can transform their Two Point Museum into a popular and thriving attraction that showcases the wonders of the animal kingdom.
