Hard Rock Bet is gearing up to enter Michigan’s burgeoning online casino market, marking its position as the fourteenth licensed iGaming brand in the state.
The gaming company is looking to expand into Michigan, one of the few U.S. regions that allows up to 15 online casino operators under its current legislation.
A dedicated webpage for Michigan has already been launched, indicating that Hard Rock Bet is in the final phases of its application process with the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB). Following approval, this will bring the total number of iGaming platforms operating in Michigan to 14.
This initiative comes after Hard Rock’s acquisition of the U.S. assets of 888 Holdings in May 2024, made possible as 888 concluded its partnership with Sports Illustrated earlier that same year.

The platform will feature a variety of slot games and table games, including blackjack, baccarat, roulette, pai gow, and craps, along with live dealer and game-show style experiences.
The company is also working on introducing attractive loyalty programs, leaderboard contests, and exclusive promotions to engage players in the local market. Once the platform is officially launched, users in Michigan can expect a welcoming offer that reflects the one available in New Jersey.
Michigan’s iGaming market has quickly developed into one of the most competitive in the U.S., with major brands such as BetMGM, DraftKings, and FanDuel at the forefront. The entry of Hard Rock Bet adds another significant name to this dynamic landscape, promoting further growth in the state’s online casino sector.
The launch is poised to benefit participants in cities like Detroit, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, and the Upper Peninsula, providing access to Hard Rock’s complete array of digital casino games and rewards.
Upon receiving final regulatory approval, the introduction of Hard Rock Bet is anticipated to enhance Michigan’s reputation as a key center for online gaming.
