Once this circle is complete, the enemy will fall and become vulnerable to an Obliterate Attack, indicated by a slash icon that turns red when you’re close enough to initiate it.
After an enemy has been knocked down, you must act swiftly to get into the correct position–either right behind or right in front of them–before the icon turns red, allowing you to trigger the Obliterate Attack.

Timing is crucial for executing Obliterate Attacks, as enemies can recover from their stagger if you do not strike them within approximately fifteen seconds. Should you fail to attack within this timeframe, the enemy will recover completely from any assembled Obliterate build-up, regardless of how close it was to completion. Even bosses are susceptible to Obliterate Attacks, though they can usually be performed only once in a battle.
