Fortnite has released its much-anticipated season themed around Star Wars, titled Galactic Battle. This new season introduces several exciting locations, NPCs, and presents the age-old conflict of choosing the light side versus the dark side. Players can acquire new lightsabers, each featuring unique mechanics. The abilities tied to these lightsabers vary depending on the side players choose, each offering distinct advantages.
How to Obtain and Utilize Mythic Force Lightning in Fortnite
To secure the Mythic Force Lightning skill in Fortnite, players need to align with the dark side by locating the Darth Sidious NPC, who appears randomly on the map. Once you see the NPC, you’ll identify him by a red icon complete with a lightsaber and two electric sparks beside it. He can spawn unexpectedly during matches, alongside a blue icon indicating a temporary NPC for those choosing the light side.
Always keep an eye on your minimap to find these locations, especially as the safe zones are being established–it’s often the best time to spot these NPCs. Upon locating the Darth Sidious NPC, interact with his hologram, where he will offer you the chance to learn Force Lightning and Force Jump through a lightsaber. If you accept, he will guide you to a nearby portal, and upon completing your Sith training, you will receive the red lightsaber.
To execute Force Lightning, first press the right mouse button to evade using the lightsaber, then hold the left mouse button while evading to unleash the lightning. This ability has a considerable range and can quickly incapacitate enemies. However, using it does leave you exposed to incoming attacks, so it’s best used when your opponent is reloading and vulnerable.
If you happen to find a blue-colored NPC, you can also acquire a lightsaber from them and gain access to the Force Push ability, which is effective for pushing adversaries off elevated surfaces.
