During the intense overtime on the fourth map, Lotus, Paper Rex held a slight edge (13-12). However, they faced a significant challenge when only f0rsakeN and something were left standing against FNATIC’s Chronicle, kaajak, Boaster, and crashies. Remarkably, Paper Rex secured the round with a stunning 2v4 clutch.
The final score reflected Paper Rex’s dominance, ending at 3-1 over FNATIC, whose team was led by Boaster.
After several previous attempts to reach the finals, Paper Rex finally claimed their first-ever VCT title at the VALORANT Masters Toronto in 2025.

Despite an early playoff exit against Gen.G, FNATIC made a remarkable comeback in the lower bracket. They managed to defeat RRQ, Sentinels, G2 Esports, and Wolves Esports, ultimately reaching the grand finals on June 22, where they finished as runners-up.
Paper Rex took home $350,000 from the prize pool along with seven circuit points, while FNATIC earned $200,000 and five circuit points.
The victory brought immense joy to fans of the Pacific team, who could finally celebrate their squad winning a prestigious title after triumphing over several of the strongest teams worldwide.

All participating teams are set to return to their respective regions to prepare for Stage 2. The strongest squads will then face off at the grand finale of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025, commencing on September 12 in Paris.
