Marvel Rivals boasts an impressive roster of iconic comic and film heroes, and NetEase is eager to feature top-tier voice actors to enhance the action gameplay experience.

Though NetEase maintained secrecy leading up to the full launch of the game, they finally unveiled part of the voice cast for Marvel Rivals during San Diego Comic-Con 2024. With the kick-off of season one, new voice actors for the recently introduced characters have been revealed.

One of the most exciting aspects of this game is the potential for a continuously expanding voice cast, promising the addition of more beloved characters along with fresh voice talents. The current roster is already impressive and is expected to keep growing.

Confirmed Voice Actors for Marvel Rivals

Crystal Lee is the latest addition to the Marvel Rivals team, lending her voice to Phoenix–the newest duelist hero. Lee effectively captures the complexities of Jean Grey and her formidable Phoenix Force alter ego. With extensive experience, she has voiced in several notable video games, including Genshin Impact, World of Warcraft, and Zenless Zone Zero. As Phoenix, her performance highlights the character’s powerful nature and internal conflict, adding to her impressive credentials.

Yuri Lowenthal was the first significant name confirmed for Marvel Rivals, reprising his role as Spider-Man. Lowenthal has voiced and performed motion capture for every Spider-Man game by Insomniac Games. In 2024 alone, he also contributed to titles such as Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Diablo 4. His extensive career began in 1997 with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Other notable names in the cast include Nolan North, known as a gaming industry icon, who has voiced Rocket Raccoon in Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy and has played Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series among many other roles.

Troy Baker is also included in the cast as Loki, while Laura Bailey takes on Black Widow, a role she has previously portrayed in various LEGO Marvel projects and Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers.

Fans of Critical Role will recognize Liam O’Brien as Doctor Strange and Travis Willingham as Thor and Doctor Doom. Both actors have previously voiced characters in various animated Marvel productions, with O’Brien providing the voice for Gollum in Shadow of Mordor and Willingham voicing Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

The final hero revealed at launch was Wolverine, voiced by Steve Blum, drawing widespread acclaim. Blum is renowned for voicing Wolverine in several animated series and is also famous for his role as Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop.
