In addition to a plethora of new elements introduced in the game, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach includes unique new categories of creatures that Sam encounters while navigating across the Mexican and Australian landscapes. Among the most intriguing–and often pesky–are the Chiral Creatures. These creatures tend to swarm around Sam and come in various forms. Finding Golden Chiral Creatures in DS2
Locate the Architect
Golden Chiral Creatures are exceptionally rare in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. They have been spotted in only one known location, which is conveniently close to a required Prepper site–you’ll just need to navigate a short distance to reach it.
Focus on searching for the Golden Chiral Creature as you begin your journey east along the northern expanse of Australia, particularly after executing Order 24, which involves delivering to the Pizza Chef from Heartman’s Lab. Since Order 24 is time-sensitive, it’s advisable to complete that task first before looking for the creatures.
After completing your delivery, head towards the Architect. If you check the order list from the Pizza Chef, you will find Sub-Order 105, which requires you to deliver a pizza to the Architect. This task not only guides you to the necessary location but also unlocks the Architect and connects the Chiral Network in that area. Remember that this delivery is also time-sensitive, so make sure to accomplish it before hunting for the Golden Chiral Creature.
Locate Nearby Tar Pools
Once you are able to explore outside the Architect’s shelter, you won’t need to venture far to find the Golden Chiral Creatures. From the shelter exit, use your compass to guide you slightly southeast. You’ll arrive at a rocky region where you should keep an eye out for small streams of tar drifting upwards. These indicate the presence of two small tar pools nearby.
The Golden Chiral Creatures prefer congregating around the tar pools and their immediate surroundings. We noticed their presence during the early morning hours and throughout the night. However, sightings during the day were less frequent, suggesting they may be more easily found after dusk.
These creatures are fairly small and resemble 3D versions of the ghosts from Pac-Man, glowing with the same metallic gold hue as chiral crystals.
Unlocking the Conqueror of the Golden CC Trophy in Death Stranding 2
Shooting to Unlock
To unlock the DS2 trophy titled «Conqueror of the Golden CC,» simply shoot and eliminate a single Golden Chiral Creature. As soon as it is defeated, the trophy banner will display.
In addition to earning the trophy, you’ll also collect a significant amount of Chiral Crystals. This quantity appears to be slightly less than what you’d acquire from larger BTs. It’s common to find four or more Golden CCs in the vicinity following each rest, making this an excellent strategy to rapidly gather a substantial supply of crystals. While we hesitate to recommend this as a prime method for farming Chiral Crystals due to the rarity of the creatures, it can definitely help you accumulate a few thousand quickly if needed.
