Woolhaven DLC Unfolds After Your Adventure in Cult of the Lamb

Fans of Cult of the Lamb will be pleased to hear about the launch of the much-anticipated Woolhaven DLC, marking the first major expansion since the game’s release. This new downloadable content promises to be as expansive as the original game, offering players additional hours immersed in managing their cult and embarking on new crusades.

The Woolhaven DLC introduces an array of new areas and missions, requiring players to take specific steps to engage with its content. Unlike previous updates, this DLC does not automatically integrate into the game, which means players will have to take action to access it. To get started with Woolhaven, players need to complete a specific task: defeat the four Bishops and make certain offerings to the statue of Yngya. Importantly, it is not necessary to defeat The One Who Waits to begin this DLC.

Upon returning to their cult, gamers will find Yngya’s statue positioned conveniently near the teleporter on the right. Interacting with this statue allows players to present the essential items required to unlock Woolhaven. However, it’s crucial to note that players can only make these offerings after conquering the four Bishops.

To prepare for the offerings, players need to gather the following items:

5 Menticide Mushrooms
5 Crystals: These can be obtained by destroying crystals in the Anchordeep.
5 Spider Silk: Found by destroying webs in the Silk Cradle.
1 Sin

Once players present the Crystals, they will encounter Gofernon, who offers various upgrades to the Cult Headquarters in exchange for Gold Bars. There are three expansions available, costing 10, 18, and 30 Gold Bars respectively. In total, players will need to prepare 58 Gold Bars to unlock all the enhancements.

The Woolhaven DLC not only expands the playable area, which is comparable in size to the original HQ, but also unlocks a new follower form closely resembling Gofernon.

Before diving into Woolhaven, players will receive a warning indicating that activating the DLC will result in the associated save file being playable exclusively with this expansion. However, the system will automatically back up existing game saves, allowing players to revert to the base game if they change their minds about the DLC.

With this significant expansion, Cult of the Lamb players have a lot to look forward to, promising fresh adventures and challenges as they guide their cult through the new content.
