As Cybersport In reports, citing Tribuna.com, NAVI have secured a place in the PGL Wallachia Season 9 playoffs after defeating 1w Team 2–1 in the fourth round of the group stage.

The Ukrainian organization completed the group stage with a 3–1 record. NAVI opened their campaign with two convincing victories, defeating Hokori 2–0 and Aurora Gaming 2–0. Their winning streak was then interrupted by Team Yandex, who beat NAVI 2–0.

That result made the fourth-round series against 1w Team particularly important, as NAVI had another opportunity to secure their playoff berth.

NAVI Come Back After Losing the Opening Map

1w Team took control of the series first. On the opening map, they recorded 25 kills compared with NAVI’s six and moved one map away from winning the match.

NAVI responded decisively on the second map. Niku, playing Lina, finished with a 15/2/13 KDA, while pma recorded 8/2/16 on Centaur Warrunner. NAVI ended the map with 39 kills against 14 for 1w Team, levelling the series at 1–1.

The deciding third map also went to NAVI. The team recorded 38 kills while limiting 1w Team to 11. Niku once again delivered a strong individual performance, this time finishing 11/4/14 on Undying. pma added a 10/1/8 performance on Windranger, while gotthejuice finished 8/0/7 on Lone Druid.

The victory gave NAVI a 3–1 group-stage record and guaranteed the team a place in the playoffs.

NAVI’s current Dota 2 lineup at the tournament features daze, Niku, pma, gotthejuice and Riddys.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 is taking place in Bucharest, Romania, from September 19 to 27. The tournament features a $1 million prize pool, with NAVI now set to continue their campaign in the playoff stage.
