Palworld has crossed another major milestone following the launch of its long-awaited 1.0 update. According to estimates from Alinea Analytics, the survival game has now sold more than 30.5 million copies worldwide, generating approximately $700 million in gross software revenue across all platforms.
Steam continues to account for the vast majority of sales, representing roughly 86% of all copies sold. Since the full release, the PC version is estimated to have added 1.5 million new sales, worth around $25 million in gross revenue. The PlayStation 5 version contributed another 300,000 copies, while Xbox sales remained below 70,000, largely because the title is available through Game Pass.
The 1.0 launch has also reignited player activity. Alinea Analytics estimates that daily active users averaged 3.7 million over the weekend, while monthly active players across PC and consoles could exceed 10 million. On Steam, the game climbed back to nearly one million concurrent players, marking its strongest performance since the explosive early-access launch in 2024.
Player engagement remains one of the game’s biggest strengths. Around 20% of Steam owners have logged more than 100 hours, while nearly 200,000 players have surpassed the 500-hour mark, highlighting Palworld’s ability to retain its audience well beyond launch.
Earlier this month, developer Pocketpair confirmed that Palworld had surpassed 40 million total players across Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Game Pass. That figure represents the overall player base rather than premium unit sales, making the latest 30.5 million sales estimate a separate commercial milestone.
With version 1.0 bringing the game out of more than two years of early access, Palworld has demonstrated that its momentum extends far beyond its viral debut. Strong sales, renewed engagement, and sustained player retention have positioned Pocketpair’s title among the most successful original game releases of the decade.
