NAVI Junior to Compete at Urban Riga Open 6

NAVI Junior, the academy roster of Natus Vincere, will compete at Urban Riga Open #6, a LAN tournament scheduled to take place in Riga, Latvia, on July 27–28. The event organizers confirmed the team’s participation.

The tournament will mark NAVI Junior’s first offline appearance in nearly five years. The academy’s last LAN event came in November 2021, when the team finished fourth at WePlay Academy League Season 2. That lineup featured Rodion fear Smyk and Illia m0NESY Osipov, who has since become one of the world’s top Counter-Strike players.

Alongside NAVI Junior, the tournament will feature MOUZ NXT, Brute, ALGO, and Astral. While the full list of participants has not yet been announced, the event is expected to showcase several promising academy and up-and-coming European teams.

Urban Riga Open #6 will offer a $5,000 prize pool. Although relatively modest in scale, tournaments like this provide valuable LAN experience for developing players and serve as an important platform for young talent to gain exposure.

For NAVI Junior, the event represents an opportunity to test the roster in an offline environment and continue the academy’s long-standing tradition of developing elite Counter-Strike players. Over the years, the NAVI Junior system has produced several notable professionals, including m0NESY and fear.
