The core game offers five upgrades for your Royal Pickaxe, which all necessitate building your friendship with different Disney characters.

1) Break Small Sea Debris

Quest: The Great Maui

Engage with Maui, compliment him, and he will enhance your Pickaxe with his hook, enabling you to remove the small blue rocks found at Dazzle Beach.

2) Break Large Sea Debris

Quest: A Tale of Stone and Fire

During his level four friendship quest, treat Maui to a delicious meal, and he will give your Pickaxe a second boost, allowing you to break large coral structures.

3) Break Small Ice Blocks

Quest: Breaking the Ice

After completing the Welcoming Elsa quest, you will embark on your initial friendship quest with her. You will be required to craft the Warmth of Summer potion to enable your Pickaxe to shatter smaller ice formations in Frosted Heights.

Quest: Welcome to the Storybook Vale

Inside your mailbox, you’ll find an invitation. Once in the new area, you can create a Pickaxe potion that can break the fossil-like wooden boulders.

11) Break Hunks of Marble

Quest: Mythic Restoration

During your first friendship quest with Hades, collect Crimson Eternal Poppies, Posidonia, and Gravel. With these items, Hades will enhance your Pickaxe so it can shatter the white marble pieces found in Mythopia.
