As players navigate through the immersive world of the latest installment in the Resident Evil franchise, they will encounter challenging scenarios and intricate puzzles that elevate the gaming experience. In the East Wing, players are beckoned towards the Lead Researcher’s Office, located on the upper level, where a locked Puzzle Box awaits their attention. However, this is not merely a matter of entering a code; it poses a significant challenge with a reinforced padlock barring access.
To tackle this formidable obstacle–dubbed the Sturdy Padlock–players should refrain from the temptation to shoot at it in frustration. Instead, they must seek out a particular key item crucial for unlocking it. Fortunately, guidance is at hand to assist in the quest for this item.
Once players reach the upstairs area of the East Wing, they will traverse a western corridor. A Level 1 Keycard lies in wait, but so does a menacing creature ready to pursue. Quick reflexes will be essential as they slip through the now-unprotected doorway.
Moving forward, the Conference Room showcases further challenges, featuring a couple of zombies and a not-so-friendly singer. A keen eye will reveal the Corrosive, conveniently located on a cabinet along the southern wall of the room. After acquiring this necessary item, players are encouraged to return to the Lead Researcher’s Office, where they can use the Corrosive to dissolve the troublesome padlock.
With the padlock successfully destroyed, the pathway to the Sun Puzzle Box is finally open. Enthusiastic players will find that the solution to the Sun Quartz puzzle comprises the symbols Star, Sun, Moon, and Sun. Those who enjoy exploration can further enrich their experience by examining the Researcher’s Office for two photographs, which will unveil hidden cues regarding the puzzle’s solution.
Navigating these challenges not only tests players’ problem-solving skills but also enhances engagement with the storyline, ensuring that fans of the genre remain captivated throughout their adventure.
