Surging Esports Betting Fuels DATA.BET’s Impressive Q3 2025 Performance

In an impressive display of growth, DATA.BET has reported a significant surge in esports betting activity during the third quarter of 2025. This increase signifies a robust performance across all major metrics within the sector.

According to the betting solutions provider, the volume of esports stakes jumped by 60 percent on a year-on-year basis, while profits experienced an astonishing rise of 79 percent, underpinned by improved margin efficiency, which increased by 12 percent. The heightened enthusiasm among players was evident as well, with the number of bets placed rising by 33 percent and the total number of active players soaring by an incredible 126 percent. Additionally, the average size of bets placed increased by 22 percent, signaling what the company describes as a deeper involvement and greater confidence from its user base.

Bohdan Holovnov, the Head of Esports at DATA.BET, expressed satisfaction with the results, noting, «Esports has proven its strength and reliability as a betting vertical. As we see continued engagement and growing turnover, we are extremely excited about the positive momentum and are committed to scaling it together with our partners.»

The strong performance of DATA.BET’s esports betting segment in the third quarter can be attributed to shifts in player preferences and expanded event coverage in leading esports titles. The latest data indicates that CS2 remains the frontrunner, recording a 26.7 percent increase in turnover alongside a 55 percent rise in profits. Although bet volume only saw a modest increase of 2.5 percent, it is worth noting the discipline’s overall impact on the betting ecosystem.

League of Legends made remarkable progress, jumping to become the second most popular title after achieving staggering growth metrics. The turnover for League of Legends skyrocketed by 290 percent, profits surged by 416 percent, and the number of total bets shot up by 221 percent, elevating it above Dota 2.

Similarly, Rainbow Six Siege demonstrated a consistent upward trend, fueled by an increase in match availability and strategic regional expansion initiatives in Latin America. This game’s turnover increased by 126 percent, with profits amplifying by an incredible 504 percent and a 12.4 percent rise in betting volumes.

Holovnov attributed this success to the company’s strategic enhancements aligned with changing betting habits. «We’ve placed a strong emphasis on optimizing uptime for popular in-play markets such as ‘Map – Total Kills’ and ‘Map – Duration,’ especially during crucial late-game moments,» he explained, highlighting the focus on both first-person shooters and multiplayer online battle arenas.

Furthermore, the introduction of interval-based kill markets in League of Legends and Dota 2 has led to more dynamic betting opportunities. The expansion of player props across major esports titles like CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT–available in both pre-match and live betting formats–has played a pivotal role in driving increased activity.

In addition to showcasing year-on-year performance improvements, DATA.BET reported strong quarter-to-quarter stability. Profits rose by 13 percent compared to the previous quarter, suggesting a consistent demand amid the company’s foray into sports betting earlier this year.

As DATA.BET closes in on the final quarter of 2025, it does so with a solid foundation, buoyed by a steady momentum in esports betting–a promising sign for the future.
