Dive into the Action: Everything You Need to Know About PUBG’s Upcoming Black Budget Closed Alpha!

In an exciting development for gaming enthusiasts, PUBG Studios is set to unveil a new extraction shooter titled PUBG: Black Budget. This title, crafted by the same team that brought us the globally renowned PUBG: Battlegrounds, is gearing up for a Closed Alpha later this year, allowing players to sample its unique gameplay.

PUBG: Black Budget promises an action-packed experience from a first-person perspective. Set on a mysterious island known as Coli, which spans two and a half square kilometers and is ensnared in a time loop, players will navigate abandoned research facilities while scrounging for advanced technology. Throughout their journey, they will face both hostile players and formidable environmental challenges, echoing the tense gameplay found in titles like Escape From Tarkov and Arena Breakout Infinite.

The Closed Alpha will be accessible on PC via Steam, albeit in select regions. Players eager to participate can look forward to two weekends filled with testing in December 2025. The schedule for these sessions is as follows: the first weekend will take place from December 12 to December 14, and the second weekend will run from December 19 to December 21.

Spanning six days, the alpha testing will introduce participants to a variety of game mechanics, including combat dynamics, extraction processes, raid encounters, hideout customization options, and a myriad of threats such as mutants and exotic wildlife.

However, it’s important to note that the Closed Alpha is limited to North America, Europe, and selected areas of Asia. Players residing outside these regions will not be able to participate at this stage, although the alpha will support several languages, including English, Korean, Russian, and Chinese.

Those interested in joining the testing phase can register exclusively through Steam. The steps to sign up are straightforward: log into your Steam account, search for PUBG: Black Budget, click on the «Request Access» button, confirm your request, and then await a confirmation email regarding your selection. It’s crucial to understand that, due to limited slots, entry is not guaranteed despite registering. Alternatively, players can watch the alpha testing on Twitch to earn access keys through drops.

As for technical requirements, players will need to ensure their systems meet the minimum or recommended specifications to partake in the Closed Alpha. A brief overview of these requirements includes a suitable processor, sufficient RAM, a capable graphics card, and adequate storage space.

This upcoming title aims to redefine the extraction shooter genre with its innovative features and intense gameplay, making it a highly anticipated release for fans of the genre.
