Battlefield 6 Modes
Battlefield 6 showcases a fusion of beloved classic modes and innovative new formats that redefine multiplayer combat. The modes are categorized into two main types: All-Out Warfare, which offers large-scale, vehicle-centric battles, and Close Quarters Battle, focusing on swift, infantry-only skirmishes.
All-Out Warfare
- Conquest: Teams vie for control over multiple points across the map, diminishing enemy reinforcements by holding points and eliminating foes. The match concludes when one team exhausts their lives.
- Breakthrough: Attackers advance the frontlines while defenders maintain their positions. To capture a sector, attackers must secure all control points simultaneously. The battle proceeds until all sectors are captured by attackers or they run out of reinforcements.
- Rush: Attackers must plant and detonate explosives on M-COMs while preventing defenders from disabling them. The battle advances to subsequent sectors as M-COMs are destroyed, concluding when either all M-COMs are gone or the attackers deplete their lives.
- Escalation (new): Teams compete to capture seven crucial control points, with the team holding the majority making progress toward claiming territory. Accumulating points leads to the removal of control points from the map. The first team to secure three points wins.
Close Quarters Battle
- Team Deathmatch: A fast-paced combat arena focused solely on eliminating the opponent. The first team to achieve 100 kills secures victory.
- Domination: A high-intensity battle for territorial supremacy among infantry. Points are earned by capturing and holding objectives, with the first team to reach the point target declared the winner.
- Squad Deathmatch: Four squads clash in a close-quarters competition, with the first to meet the kill goal emerging victorious.
- King of the Hill: Capturing and maintaining a single objective earns points, with its location rotating throughout the map.
- Strikepoint: This round-based mode emphasizes one-life gameplay, where two squads fight for a single objective. Victory goes to the team that holds the objective for a certain duration or wipes out the opposing squad. The first to win six rounds triumphs.
Battlefield REDSEC Modes
Battlefield REDSEC debuted with the first season as a free-to-play experience. It includes a unique take on battle royale, featuring vehicles, large-scale destruction, and various classes. Additionally, REDSEC comprises modes such as Portal and Gauntlet.
The available game modes in REDSEC are:
- Battle Royale: Assemble in duos or squads as 100 players drop onto the expansive Fort Lyndon map, carrying out missions while gathering weapons to combat other teams until only one remains. The hazardous circle eliminates players quickly, intensifying the competition.
- Gauntlet: This elimination mode allows eight squads to compete in various missions for points, with the least performing teams being eliminated after each round. The last squad standing is declared the winner.
