Popular League of Legends streamer TheBausffs, better known as Baus, has expressed his concerns regarding his future with Los Ratones, admitting that he feels increasingly alienated from the team’s shift towards a more professional framework.

While streaming recently, he opened up about his worries, stating, «We are transitioning into a more professional athlete setup, and I feel out of place.» His remarks resonated with fans who appreciate his unique playstyle and relaxed, entertainment-centric approach to League of Legends.

The Swedish top laner emphasized that his primary focus is on streaming and not on full-time competitive play. «I am not ready to abandon my streaming career for professional esports,» he asserted during the stream, clearly rejecting the notion of putting esports before content creation. When questioned about a potential participation in the LEC, Baus reiterated that his streaming career has always been his top priority, and he has no interest in sacrificing that for competitive commitments.

Baus noted that recent conversations with Los Ratones highlighted a discrepancy between his personal aspirations and the direction of the team. He described a recent meeting in which it became apparent that the organization was seeking to adopt a more organized, strategy-focused approach.

As the team gears up for the EMEA Masters, he mentioned that the increasing demands have become overwhelming. «There were days when I could hardly stream because my schedule was so packed,» he stated, revealing that he spent as much as six hours a day in scrims, which left him with little time for his usual content creation. He admitted that there were times he could manage only two streams a week, a situation he found challenging given that his success is tied closely to consistent community engagement.

Los Ratones, initially established by former LEC caster Caedrel, started as a fun, content-driven team, sharing practice sessions and behind-the-scenes moments with fans. However, as the roster gained competitive ground and secured entries into top tournaments, the organization naturally transformed into a more serious entity with stricter training regimens and performance expectations.

For Baus, this evolution has sparked a conflict between creativity and structure–two elements that often clash in high-stakes esports environments. Although he has not officially revealed his next steps, Baus has made it clear that any ongoing involvement in competitive gaming must strike a balance.
