Skate 4: What Happened to the Block Party?

The inaugural season of Skate has introduced a variety of challenges for players to complete in order to earn Tix (a special seasonal currency). These Tix can then be utilized to unlock new items in the season pass. However, one particular task, titled ‘Sequence with Grinds around the Block Party,’ seems to be confusing some players.

The difficulty doesn’t lie in the grinding itself but in the fact that ‘Block Party’ is not explicitly marked on the Skate 4 map. Therefore, here’s where you can skate and execute grind sequences to fulfill the Block Party quest.

Players need to achieve 50 grind sequences to gain 415 Tix.

How to Perform Sequences with Grinds

To locate the area required for the ‘Block Party’ challenge in Skate 4, skate around Rectory Park in Gullcrest Village. This park is situated in the southern-central part of the area.

Even if the location is locked, you can still view it on your in-game map, set a waypoint, and head to the park. However, challenges for that area may not be visible yet.

If you’re struggling with the grind sequences, just keep in mind that a sequence means performing a continuous series of moves (they don’t need to be extensive!). By chaining flips and tricks while grinding, you’ll gradually accumulate the requisite points.
