In Hinako’s second trip to the Dark Shrine, she’ll enter the shadowy Corridors within Silent Hill f. Upon completing the goal of locating the «sacred door,» players will encounter a small altar in one of the adjacent rooms. Engaging with the altar will change the objective to «find the missing part of the object,» prompting an exploration of the area to locate the object needed to advance further into the Corridors.

Locating the Missing Object Part in Silent Hill f

The Corridors serve as the third chapter in Silent Hill f, where one of your primary objectives is to locate the missing part for the altar. The altar can be found in a room adjacent to the first Hokora shrine within the Corridors.

This altar is inside a cabinet, featuring a circular plate with candles lit around it. A gap in the center of the altar suggests that an item needs to be placed there to potentially trigger a hidden mechanism.

To embark on the search for the missing object part, your first step is to obtain the Storage Room key. Exit the altar room, and to your right, you’ll notice a small area to crouch and crawl through, which leads back to the first Hokora Shrine.

The Storage Room key can be found on a wooden crate just to the left, just before you reach the doorway. You may also want to save your progress at the nearby shrine.

Next, make your way to the storage room corresponding to the key you just acquired. Leave the current room and proceed to the right until you reach a locked door on your left.

Utilize the Storage Room key to gain entry, then move to the rear of the room. There, you will encounter a wooden chest topped with a doll that can be interacted with to view a message. Additionally, be sure to retrieve the «A Warning» note/document.

Upon leaving the storage room, you will notice that the door across the walkway is now unlocked. Hinako will react to this change, but it is safe to enter this new area.

Entering this new room will allow you to obtain the missing part for the altar, known as the «Inari Sculpture» found in Silent Hill f. Afterward, make your way back to the altar while being cautious of any enemies that may have spawned in the corridors.

Once at the altar, Hinako will insert the Inari Sculpture, triggering a mechanism that uncovers a hidden passage. Proceed into this passage to continue your journey within the Corridors chapter and acquire the Naginata weapon in Silent Hill f.
