Unleash the Full Capabilities of Your Equipment with These Hidden Hollow Knight: Silksong Enhancements

In Hollow Knight: Silksong, there are a total of 65 tools, including three upgraded variants of existing items. Players can acquire only one version of the Silkshot in each playthrough, and in Steel Soul Mode, the Shell Satchel replaces the Dead Bug’s Purse, limiting the maximum number of tools to 59.

As expected, the three upgrades for tools in Hollow Knight: Silksong provide substantial advantages compared to their standard versions, making them worthwhile to pursue. Two of these upgrades are accessible only in the game’s final act, but they are definitely worth the effort, given that the Curvesickle ranks among the top red tools, while the Claw Mirrors also offer solid benefits.

Unlocking the Druid’s Eyes in Hollow Knight: Silksong

To upgrade the Druid’s Eye, players must provide the Moss Druid with four additional Mossberries after fulfilling the Berry Picking Wish. Besides the three required for the Wish, players can discover six Mossberries throughout the Moss Grotto and the last one concealed in the lower section of Memorium. The soonest players can obtain the Druid’s Eyes is during Act 2, as that is when they first gain access to Memorium.

Acquiring the Curvesickle in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Players can enhance the Curveclaw to the Curvesickle in Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong. To accomplish this, they need to go to Far Fields and locate the section beneath the Pilgrim’s Rest bench, where four targets hang from the ceiling. By hitting all four targets with a single Curveclaw throw, a Skarr Scout will materialize and request the Curveclaw. After relinquishing it, players should rest at a bench and return to the target area to find the newly upgraded Curvesickle.

Earning the Claw Mirrors in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Players can evolve the Claw Mirror into the Claw Mirrors during Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong. This requires them to defeat Trobbio in Act 2 and accept the Pain, Anguish, and Misery Wish from the Wishboard in Songclave. Once this is completed, they can return to the Citadel’s stage to defeat Trobbio once more, earning the Dark Mirror as a reward. This item combines with the previously acquired Claw Mirror from Trobbio to create the Claw Mirrors.
