In the character-driven gacha game, new Lighbearers are continuously being added to the roster of Destiny: Rising. Each character possesses a distinct backstory and unique abilities, making it worthwhile to keep an eye out for future character releases as you plan your pulls.
Here’s an overview of the upcoming characters in Destiny: Rising.
Confirmed Upcoming Characters in Destiny Rising
The most recent trailer introduced Estela, a five-star Solar Offensive character connected to an Ahamkara dragon. In the gameplay sneak peek, players observed her using illusions to confront foes and summoning a sizable fire-breathing turret that resembles a skeleton.
Equipped with a pulse rifle and a machine gun, her gameplay seems to focus on abilities. Given her summon-based combat style, it might be beneficial to pre-farm some Artifacts before her arrival. Estela is set to launch on September 11 alongside the Season of Daybreak.
Alongside Estela, we have Umeko, a four-star Void character believed to be a Hunter. While official details about Umeko’s abilities are not available yet, leaks and closed beta test gameplay suggest she can become invisible and tag foes, embodying the essence of a Void Hunter. Her arsenal includes a scout rifle and a sniper rifle, similar to what Tan-2 wields.
Rumored Upcoming Characters in Destiny Rising
Currently, there aren’t any leaks regarding new characters for Destiny: Rising. However, some units from beta tests are still absent from the main game. One such character is Maru, a five-star Void character known for her area-of-effect damage and barrier creation. She has also appeared in earlier trailers, handling a massive cannon.
As time progresses, more characters and related leaks are expected to appear, so stay alert for new updates and manage your pulls accordingly.
