How to create Rosary String in Hollow Knight Silksong

To craft a Rosary String in Hollow Knight Silksong, you will need 80 Rosary Beads. These can be obtained by defeating certain enemy types starting in Mosshome. You can also discover these beads strung up in various locations and secret areas throughout the game.

After collecting enough Rosary Beads, head to the initial settlement area known as Bonebottom, where you will find a trader. You can reach this location quickly using the Bell Beast for fast travel or the elevator from Mosshome. Once there, interact with the trader and scroll through the buying menu to find the option to craft Rosary String. Spend 80 beads on a Rosary String, which will then be added to your inventory. Additionally, there is a type of Rosary String called the frayed version, which can be found in secret spots across different biomes and appears slightly worn compared to the regular one.

How to utilize Rosary String in Hollow Knight Silksong

Break it to retrieve beads when needed.

Once you transform your beads into a Rosary String, it will remain permanently in your inventory, ensuring that you won’t lose them even if you face defeat against fierce bosses or minor enemies. To utilize Rosary Strings, access your inventory and disassemble them to recover beads for trading with various NPCs.

Each Rosary String provides 60 beads, which is slightly less than your initial bead investment, but it’s a beneficial trade-off for securing your resources, especially in preparation for challenging boss encounters. The Frayed Rosary String yields 30 beads, acting as a smaller but still valuable safety net for when you wish to minimize the risk of losing all your resources.
