The current online iteration of Schedule 1 is already quite entertaining, but what if you could experience upcoming features ahead of their official release? If you’re interested in joining the Schedule 1 beta, we have a comprehensive guide for you.

This widely enjoyed simulation game is now available in early access, with Developer TVGS planning monthly content releases. While you can always wait for official updates, opting for the Schedule 1 beta allows you to preview upcoming enhancements. Signing up for this beta experience is completely free, and the process is straightforward.

Here’s how to access the Schedule 1 beta.

Instructions to Enroll in the Schedule 1 Beta

To participate in the beta version, follow the steps below:

1. Launch Steam and navigate to your library.
2. Select Schedule 1 and click on the Settings (gear icon) located on the right.
3. In the window that appears, go to the Betas tab.
4. In the dropdown menu next to Beta Participation, make your selection.
5. Choose the beta version you want to try and close the settings tab.
6. Restart Steam.
7. You should see «beta» listed next to the Play button. Start the game to access the beta version.

There are two beta versions available:

1. Beta: Features the standard beta version of Schedule 1.
2. Alternate-Beta: Offers the beta version of Schedule 1 in a different format.

If your PC is performing well, opt for the Beta branch. If you’re experiencing crashes or other issues, choose the Alternate-Beta. Both versions are in beta, so you may encounter some problems, but others will be experiencing similar situations.

As of this writing, TVGS has launched a new version (v0.4.0) of Schedule 1, which introduces the new Cartel system along with new weapons, vehicles, console commands, and other features. Additionally, an update in the beta branch (v0.4.0f2) includes a new Graffiti system, spray paint functionality, and various tweaks.

Keep in mind that these beta versions might not include all the features available in the final release. When the official update is deployed, you may discover additional new elements. By using the beta build, you can access the early version of v0.4.0f2 of Schedule 1 and test some of the new features set to release soon.
