To equip a Medal in The First Descendant, first, access your inventory and click on your name in the upper-left corner as if you were going to change your title. In the new Medals tab, you will be able to view all your unlocked Medals and select them for use. Medals are visible next to your name in third-person mode and on social screens within the game.

Awards Medals
As of now, 16 different Awards in The First Descendant grant Medals. You can monitor your progress in the Medals section under the Awards tab in your Journal. Each objective requires substantial gameplay focused on unlocking and upgrading diverse Descendants, Ultimate weapons, and more.
Some objectives yield identical Medals. Each time you gain a specific Medal, its level rises and its appearance shifts, emphasizing your commitment.

Challenge Medals
Additionally, there are three Medals connected to endgame challenges in The First Descendant. Achieving these Medals requires optimal builds for your Descendants and Ultimate weapons, along with high-quality Reactors and External Components.
The following are the Medals linked with their respective challenges:
- Ingris Prime Challenger Medal: Achieved in Challenge mode of Void Erosion Purge.
- Intercept Battle Prime Challenger Medal: Achieved in Challenge mode of Void Intercept Battle.
- Axion: Prime Challenger Medal: Awarded for participation in the Wall Crasher intercept battle in Axion Plains.
These Medals are awarded based on your rank on the Leaderboard for the respective modes. Specifically, for the Wall Crasher intercept battle, the Medal is given based on your contribution to the event.
