Titan Quest 2: A Guide to the Wings and Fangs Quest

Titan Quest 2 has introduced a variety of new adversaries, powerful gear to collect, and a host of quests, including a significant World Quest called Wings and Fangs, which players will encounter in Pyrgos Village. At first glance, this quest seems straightforward, but it can become challenging when trying to identify where to go next.

This guide will provide a clear walkthrough for players wishing to become formidable Spartan Warriors or Divine Sorcerers, detailing the location of the hostile Minyades and how to fulfill Otus’ request effectively.

How To Complete Wings and Fangs in Titan Quest 2

To initiate the Wings and Fangs quest in Titan Quest 2, players must converse with Otus, an NPC found at the northwestern section of Pyrgos. He will inform them of a once-friendly race of intelligent creatures known as Minyades that have started displaying aggression. Otus will enlist the players to investigate the cause of this unrest.

Next, players should head northeast, leaving the village by using the elevator. They should continue north until they reach the Southern Farmlands waypoint. From that point, proceed eastward to a notable rock formation which contains several caves of interest. While the ‘screeching caves’ are not accessible, players can ascend the rock formation to locate a group of Icthians creating loud disturbances with their shields, stirring the Minyades. Here’s how to proceed:

  1. Employ single-target skills to defeat the noisy Icthians (the shield-bearing ones).
  2. Refrain from harming the Minyades who will attack anyone in the vicinity.
  3. Once all Ichtian Shield-bearers are defeated, the Minyades will revert to being friendly.

Once the steps are completed, players can engage with the Minyade Leader to claim partial rewards based on how many Minyades survived the encounter. In gratitude, the Minyade Leader will provide a Shiny Stone and instruct players to return to Otus to finalize the quest. In return for this shiny token, players will earn 4555 Experience Points and 255 Gold, a relatively modest reward considering that many World Quests offer Attribute Points, yet still beneficial for leveling up.
