Defeating foes in Titan Quest 2 often rewards players with a variety of gear items that enhance their build beyond mere damage increases. The rarity of dropped items is indicated by color, with dark purple items signifying quest-related items rather than legendary ones.
Quest items typically play a part in puzzles, whether that involves determining their intended recipient or using them as keys to unlock specific locations, such as the Mysterious Door. Among these, the Betrothal Rings can be discovered in the Western Flooded Farmland, and players must locate the associated couple to return them.
Destination for the Betrothal Rings in Titan Quest 2
These rings are not connected to any trackable side quest, and you will not find any markers on your map.
Players only receive slight guidance for this quest item, knowing that the copper rings are crusted with sea salt, which indicates a need to travel west toward the sea, in contrast to the direction of the Caduceus. Specifically, Raider’s Landing is located just south of the temple referenced in the primary quest, «The Search for the Sea-God.»
Raider’s Landing primarily consists of docks, but there’s a notable large rock formation that can be climbed, providing a vantage point over the docks. At the summit, players will find two spectral figures. Engaging with Phylia, the ghost on the left, and presenting the Betrothal Rings will grant them solace and allow them to pass on, in addition to providing the player with a reward. There’s also a chest on the docks that may yield a rare item when opened, though it is not related to the quest.
Rewards for Returning the Betrothal Rings in Titan Quest 2
These rings have no other purpose outside of reuniting them with their rightful owners, making the described quest the sole avenue for their utilization. Completing this endeavor will reward players with:
- 5,609 XP
- 10 Embers of Night
Each Ember of Night collected will trigger the Embers of Night side quest, which can be concluded by bringing them to the designated individual in Pyrgos marked on your map. These Embers act as collectibles, and players will find a substantial amount throughout the area, allowing them to stockpile before turning them in, as they won’t receive a reward for every individual Ember returned.
