Open Beta Dates for Battlefield 6 and Instructions on Participation

Exciting visuals are anticipated in the upcoming Battlefield 6.

Prepare to engage in the open beta before the game officially launches.

Electronic Arts has unveiled the dates for the open beta of Battlefield 6, offering fans an opportunity to experience the game prior to its complete release scheduled for October. The beta will occur in two distinct sessions, with early access granted to certain players via Battlefield Labs, Twitch Drops, or through promo codes.

Battlefield 6 brings back beloved multiplayer modes, revamped character classes, and an innovative destruction system that enhances the level of chaos in each match. If you’re interested in comparing it to other first-person shooters like Call of Duty, this open beta provides a chance to join in on the action at no cost.

Here is all the essential information regarding the Battlefield 6 open beta.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Dates

Multiple beta testing periods are scheduled for Battlefield 6.

The first Battlefield 6 open beta weekend is set for 3am CT on Thursday, August 7, through 3am CT on Sunday, August 10. Access on August 7 and 8 will be restricted to early access participants, invitees, Twitch Drops recipients, or Battlefield Labs members. The beta will then open to all players on August 9 and 10.

The second beta begins on 3am CT on Thursday, August 14, and continues until 3am CT on Sunday, August 17, with complete access available for all players throughout the duration. Both open beta weekends will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

How to Access the Battlefield 6 Open Beta Early

Battlefield returns, allowing you to participate in the open beta ahead of the official release.

To gain early access to the first Battlefield 6 beta weekend, you have three options: enroll in Battlefield Labs, receive Twitch Drops, or pre-order the game. Players who are already part of the Battlefield Labs program will automatically receive entry into the early beta. If you are not a member, you could secure access by watching designated Battlefield 6 streams on Twitch and earning Twitch Drops on July 31. It should be noted that the Twitch promotion has concluded, but EA may conduct another event shortly before the early access period commences.

Another sure way to ensure early entry is by pre-ordering the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition, which includes early beta access as part of its bonus content. Priced at $99.99 / £89.99, the Phantom Edition also features additional digital rewards. For avid fans eager to jump into the gameplay, this pre-order option is your best opportunity to experience the title before it is available to the general public.
