Acquiring Captain Phasma’s Legendary F-11D Blaster and Blaster Medallion in Fortnite

The leader of the First Order’s stormtroopers, Captain Phasma, has arrived on the Fortnite island. Originally introduced in The Force Awakens, she now appears as a boss NPC within the Fortnite universe. Defeating her grants access to the mythic F-11D Blaster and her unique Blaster Medallion.

How to Defeat Captain Phasma in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3

Captain Phasma can be found at the First Order Base, located to the northeast of the Fortnite island, just north of the former site of Demon’s Dojo. This formidable location is situated on a snowy mountain and has five access points, including a concealed utility shaft.

Locate the captain inside the base.

Before you challenge Captain Phasma, ensure you are well-equipped with shields, weapons, and ammo, unless using a blaster. It’s wise to carry multiple weapon types for versatility during the fight. Outside the base, there are several spots where you can find loot chests containing weapons and supplies. For the bold, landing directly on the base allows for looting while fending off enemy stormtroopers.

Engage her with a blaster.

Once you’re prepared, locate Captain Phasma by checking for her icon on the map. Typically, she remains inside the base, accompanied by stormtroopers. Keep an eye out, as other players may also try to confront her.

Secure the loot and make your escape!

Captain Phasma wields her mythic Blaster and Thermal Imploders–explosive grenades that inflict significant damage. Stay mobile to evade her attacks and be cautious of any Thermal Imploders she throws. You might need to recover health during the battle, so find a safe spot to regroup before diving back into combat. Captain Phasma will pursue you, demolishing any defensive structures with her pickaxe or Thermal Imploders.

Upon her defeat, she will drop the mythic F-11D Blaster along with the Captain’s Blaster Medallion. This medallion enhances your Blaster’s duration and decreases cooldown times after overheating.

Afterward, consider discovering how to locate and pilot a Starfighter in Fortnite Chapter Six, Season Three.
