Navigating Fast Travel in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Every Soulslike game presents players with numerous challenges, ranging from tough boss encounters to traversing perilous environments. In these demanding settings, revisiting previous locations to unlock doors or converse with NPCs can feel monotonous. However, the fast travel feature helps alleviate this issue and is available relatively early in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Below is a comprehensive guide on utilizing fast travel and what players need to achieve to unlock this feature in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Using Fast Travel in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Initially, players must complete the tutorial, which familiarizes them with the game mechanics and introduces several NPCs, some of whom have quests for you to undertake. During this tutorial, you’ll come across a Shrine, which serves as a checkpoint where you can upgrade your character, learn new abilities, and respawn upon death. At this point, only three options will be available, and you’ll need to continue progressing in the game.

From the Shrine, proceed to battle the tutorial boss. Regardless of the outcome, the environment will change, and new enemies will emerge. Descend the stairs in the Reverent Temple, turn right, and walk through the open gate. The path should be straightforward, leading you to some scaffolding that you can climb. At the top, you will find a Shrine where you can offer Blood to activate.

At this location, fast travel becomes accessible, allowing you to teleport to any activated Shrines. As you teleport, you might notice a gray portrait of an NPC, indicating that you have yet to complete their quest in that area.

Not all Shrines are situated along the main path, so it’s essential to explore thoroughly to find them.

Most quests given by NPCs require players to venture into specific areas and retrieve items. Since these items may be located far from the NPC, fast traveling to a nearby Shrine simplifies the quest completion process.
