To obtain the Reverent Temple Key, players must defeat Commander – Honglan, the final essential boss within the Worship’s Rise region. The key will automatically be added to the player’s inventory upon defeating this enemy, allowing immediate access to the gate near the Reverent Temple.
In addition to the key, Honglan rewards players with Wei – Combo Force, a Benediction that enhances damage through consecutive attacks.
To engage Honglan in battle, players need to reach the Tang Emperor’s Palace, the final area in Worship’s Rise, situated just past the Corpse Pit. As players progress through the main storyline, they will inevitably reach this location, following these steps to activate the Palace Hill Shrine:
- Ascend the steps ahead, proceed through the wall opening, and go to the back-left corner of the area with small bridges.
- Climb the wooden ramp to reach a rooftop, then utilize the ladder on the opposite side to descend.
- At the base, continue forward and scale a small ladder.
- Follow the path straight ahead, taking the stairs on the right, to pass a building occupied by the Tang Palace Maid.
- After passing the building, ascend the ladder on the left to reach another rooftop.
- Move to the right at the top and continue along the path until you find the Palace Hill Shrine.
Once the Palace Hill Shrine is activated, players should notice a Buddha Statue to the left. Inserting this item into a device located to the right of the Palace Hill Shrine will drain the central pond of the Tang Emperor’s Place, leading to the commencement of the battle with Honglan.
Using the Reverent Temple Key in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
After acquiring the Reverent Temple Key, players will likely know where to utilize it, but some clarification may be beneficial. To use the key, players must return to the Reverent Temple Shrine, head down the stairs, and interact with the gate on the left side of the area below.
Players will find themselves automatically returned to the Reverent Temple after defeating Honglan. However, the fast travel feature in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers allows players to teleport instantly to the temple from any other Shrine.
