Proceed down the adjacent path, and when you reach a fork, avoid going straight; instead, take a left and then a quick right. This route will lead you to the Bamboo Courtyard, where you will hear loud bangs caused by enemies attempting to break down doors around the area. Defeat the numerous soulslike enemies, then engage with the doors to chat with the NPCs inside the houses.

Within one of those houses, you will find a young boy who informs you that his parents are missing, as his father went searching for his mother and little brother. The boy will request your assistance and will give you the Courtyard Key.

Return to the area near the Fire Dancer and use the key to unlock the door. Be cautious as you eliminate any foes in the vicinity, including an enemy with a rifle stationed above.
