In the tutorial phase of the game, you will meet Tao Qing at the base of the Reverant Temple. Engage him in conversation, and he will reveal that a painting, which is a cherished family heirloom, has been taken by bandits. He will inform you that the painting can be found in Annalum, and after retrieving it, you should return to Shu Sanctum to collect your reward from him.

Where to Locate Annalum in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

To find Annalum, you will need to venture around the Shu Sanctum area, which is fairly expansive and also includes an optional boss encounter. When you reach the section with the Fire Dancer enemy, defeat them and turn to your left to discover a path leading down by the stairs. Following this path, you will find a wooden bridge that takes you to Annalum.

Proceeding upward on the path leads to a Shrine where you can level up. Continue into the main courtyard where you will come across several enemies. Here, you can find the Shadow Stone Needle and a Pendant on the left, while the right path leads to another wooden bridge.
