The second international tournament of the year for League of Legends kicks off soon in Vancouver, Canada, where teams will compete for the trophy and a chance to qualify for the upcoming events.
All qualified teams are aiming for the prestigious Mid-Season Invitational 2025, scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 13. This tournament is structured in two main sections: the play-ins and the bracket stage. In the play-ins, four teams from various regions will compete to secure their spots in the main bracket, while two teams will be eliminated from the competition.
The bracket stage features both upper and lower brackets. Teams that lose in the upper bracket get an opportunity to continue competing in the lower bracket. Conversely, matches in the lower bracket are elimination rounds, using the Fearless Drafts format, a consistent element throughout the 2025 season.
