VALORANT patch 11.00 has been released, bringing exciting changes including Agent adjustments and a brand new map for Season V25.

Buffs for Agents
Waylay
Waylay receives several enhancements in the latest update.
- Refract
- Minimum duration for Refract decreased from 0.5 seconds to 0.35 seconds
- Time to unequip lowered from 1 second to 0.8 seconds
- Delay after reactivation reduced from 0.1 seconds to 0.05 seconds
- Lightspeed
- Unequip time shortened from 0.8 seconds to 0.6 seconds
- Saturate
- Windup before explosion decreased from 0.75 seconds to 0.6 seconds
- Explosion radius expanded from 10m to 12m
Omen
This season’s changes include a slight buff for Omen.
- Dark Cover
- Audio is no longer audible to enemies within 12.5m.
Nerfs for Agents
Phoenix
The new patch will introduce nerfs for Phoenix, specifically increasing the windup time for his Curveball.

- Windup time increased from 0.5 seconds to 0.6 seconds.
Neon
Recognizing Neon’s recent dominance in gameplay, she will also face nerfs; specifically, her Relay Bolt will undergo an increased windup time.

- Windup time increased from 0.8 seconds to 1 second.
The developers adjusted Phoenix and Neon to afford opponents a better chance to respond to their strategies.
Reyna
Reyna’s Leer will experience a nerf in the upcoming season.

- Now features audio effects for allies within 12.5m.

- Now louder and easier to track.
- Owl Drone
- Added audio feedback for enemies upon hit.
- Enemies receive a warning when observed by the Owl Drone.
Clove
- Pick Me Up
- Visual effects introduced to indicate when Clove’s speed boost is active.
Killjoy
- Lockdown
- Detain pulse delay reduced from 0.5 seconds to 0.15 seconds.

General Updates
- Enhanced visual effects for suppression have been made more noticeable on opponents to clarify the debuff.
- Introduced new UI/UX animations that improve clarity when players pick up the spike.
Map Updates
- NEW MAP: CORRODE
- A new 5v5 map featuring strategic depth and layered defenses set in a medieval fortress aesthetic. Engage in battle through contrasting castle structures and village layouts, with action spread over multilevel areas.
- Corrode encompasses three lanes and two sites.
- MAP POOL CHANGES
- BIND and CORRODE are now included in the COMPETITIVE and DEATHMATCH modes.
- PEARL and SPLIT have been removed from the COMPETITIVE and DEATHMATCH modes.
- CORRODE is now available in Premier, Unrated, Swiftplay, Spike Rush, and Escalation modes.
Modes Updates
- CORRODE QUEUE
- A dedicated queue for Corrode will be available for 5 days.
- Matches will follow the Swiftplay format.
- ESCALATION
- Temporarily disabled for the length of the Corrode queue.
- Icebox has been re-enabled in Deathmatch and Escalation after resolving previous issues.
Competitive Updates
- The Ranked Gun Buddy is now available!
- The new season commences with rewards based on your highest rank attained in the past three acts of Season 2025.
- Corrode Launch Event
- Corrode will debut in the Competitive queue on the patch’s launch day!
- Ranked losses on Corrode will be reduced by 50% for the first two weeks, while wins will still award full RR.
- Changes to rank resets have been made.
- Players may experience less rank drop post-placement during the midseason reset.
- The highest placement rank has been adjusted to Ascendant 3.
Bug Fixes
- General
- Resolved a visual bug related to Vulnerables/Fragiles, ensuring effects do not linger beyond intended duration.
- Fixed an issue where destructible deployables could leave teleport doors open on Bind.

- Corrected an issue where suppression visuals were not consistently applied.
- Raze
- Resolved an issue with the persistence of Paint Shells VFX across rounds.
- Omen
- Rectified targeting inconsistencies during Dark Cover usage when Shrouded Step was repeatedly activated.

- Fixed spacing inconsistencies in ability tooltips.
- Cypher
- Fixed inconsistencies in ability tooltip spacing.
- Breach
- Resolved an issue with Fault Line occasionally failing to apply to targets at varying elevations.

Premier Updates
Welcome to Stage V25A4! Engage in Premier for new team recognitions!
- Upon joining a team, your profile now displays your Premier team name, division, and current score.
- Participate in two weekly matches or one playoff match to earn your Team Tag and basic Plating.
- Team Tags will appear throughout the client – in the social panel, lobby, and in-game.
- Plating will be visible on your player card across various areas.
- Qualify for playoffs to enhance your Plating, and win to unlock the Champion’s Aura, granting a new visual effect on your player card post-victory.
- Explore all available rewards in the new Awards section of the Premier hub.
Player Behavior Improvements
- Report offenders by inappropriate names in the Premier Hub and from end-of-game screens.
- Inappropriate team names may necessitate a renaming.
- Repeated offensive name selections will result in Premier restrictions.
