The exploration of the facility in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic may be short, but it contains numerous concealed areas featuring hidden items and encounters. One such area is situated in the basement of the facility, which can be accessed via the lift located in the Retail Showroom zone.
However, this area cannot be accessed right away; you will need Executive permission from the Data Diver to gain entry. Prepare yourself, as you will need to solve a puzzle down in the basement, while evading a stealthy Moon animatronic that can be lurking in the shadows.
How to Obtain the Keypad Code for the Retail Showroom in FNAF: Secret of the Mimic
To enter the Retail Showroom area in FNAF: Secret of the Mimic, players must first acquire Executive Data Diver access. After you’ve secured access and defeated the boss known as the White Tiger, you should avoid entering the main office in Storage to speak with the Dispatcher. Doing so will lead you to an ending cutscene and prevent further exploration of the facility.
Instead, exit the storage section and navigate through the welcome showroom to reach the main corridor. The entrance to the Retail Showroom is to the left of the keypad you used to retrieve the elevator repair training cassette. Upon entering, promptly unlock the office to your left and access the Helper Terminal.
Check the emails titled Retail, followed by the days of the week. These messages will reveal the locations of monitors displaying code digits that must be entered into the Retail Showroom keypad in the correct sequence.

After successfully entering the code 80625 into the Retail Showroom keypad, an elevator will become available, leading you to the basement section.
How to Complete the Basement Puzzle and Defeat the Moon Boss
Once you arrive in the basement, collect the Star Orphan light and move into one of the adjoining hallways. These hallways create a labyrinthine layout where you will be continually chased by the Moon animatronic. It’s recommended to avoid touching any chains and use nearby lockers to conceal yourself as necessary.
Your main objective is to trace one of the four red wires on the floor to a docking station where you can connect the Star Orphan and restore power to that area. Upon power restoration, follow the other end of the red wire to locate an unlocked cage containing a circuit tile piece.
Once you have the circuit piece, return to the main area with the large moon structure and place the piece into the bigger circuit behind it. You must collect a total of four circuit tiles using the method described above. Remember to retrieve the Star Orphan after you’re done in each area.
Utilize the Jackhammers to divert the Moon animatronic when progressing to a new section, making it easier to locate the circuit piece without being followed.
Once all four circuit tiles are positioned in the primary circuit, reconnect them to create a path for the molten liquid to flow from right to left. This will finalize the circuit and grant you access to the large moon structure in the center, where you will find David’s Ball gift box memorabilia. Collecting all the gift box memorabilia is crucial for completing the Moon.exe mini-game and securing the secret ending of FNAF: Secret of the Mimic.
