Unlocking the Goldwidow Armor in DELTARUNE Chapter 4
Introduction to Goldwidow Armor
In Chapter 4 of DELTARUNE, players can discover numerous secrets and gain access to exciting items. Among these, the Goldwidow Armor stands out as one of the finest, enhancing the stats of any team member who wears it. However, tracking down this armor can be a bit challenging without guidance. Here’s a comprehensive guide to obtaining the Goldwidow Armor in DELTARUNE.
How to Acquire Funds for the Goldwidow Armor
To obtain the Goldwidow Armor, you will need to amass 10,000 Dark Dollars, which must be donated to the waterfall at the Old Man’s Library. Gathering such a large sum requires you to actively defeat enemies and spend your funds wisely.
The most effective strategy for earning money involves thoroughly exploring various regions of the game and taking down all foes you encounter. Although this process can be time-consuming, it is a reliable way to accumulate wealth, especially when facing tougher adversaries.
Once you have enough Dark Dollars, make your way to the Old Man’s Library. Enter the study, ascend the stairs, and go through the first door on the left. At the first intersection, turn left to find the waterfall. Here, you can commence your donations. Contribute 10,000 Dark Dollars to acquire the Goldwidow Armor.
Make sure to secure the funds and make your donation before advancing in the storyline, as failure to do so may result in missing out on this armor. Note that you’ll need to progress further in the chapter, solve a piano puzzle, and reach the second Sanctuary before you can obtain the armor.
Claiming Your Goldwidow Armor
Upon reaching the second Sanctuary, you will encounter another waterfall, similar to the one in the first Sanctuary. However, this particular waterfall is solely for claiming the rewards from your donations. You will notice a treasure chest located in the same area. Interact with it to receive the Goldwidow Armor.
The items available for claiming depend on your donation amount. You are limited to selecting one item from the reward pool. Choosing the Goldwidow Armor means you will forfeit lesser items, such as a Blitter Tear and Revive Mint. However, given the armor’s utility, this trade-off is worthwhile.
The Goldwidow Armor offers bonuses of +1 Attack, +5 Defense, and +1 Magic, but it carries a passive effect that reduces all monetary gains by ten percent. In return, it will automatically collect coins for you. Notably, this armor can be equipped on all characters except for Noelle.
