THE FINALS enters its seventh season, showcasing a clash in the arena. On one side stands the VAIIYA team–experts in cybersecurity defending the show’s digital domain. Opposing them is CNS, a hacking group that has infiltrated the arena multiple times before.
Here’s a summary of the new features introduced in THE FINALS season seven.
All Features in THE FINALS Season 7
New Map: NOZOMI/CITADEL
The ongoing rivalry between VAIIYA and CNS is depicted through the new map, NOZOMI/CITADEL. This map draws inspiration from Tokyo, featuring bright neon signage and overgrown areas on the CNS side, while the VAIIYA area presents stark, corporate-style black-and-white buildings.
Three New Gadgets
While season seven does not introduce new weapons, it adds three innovative gadgets. Players in the Light and Medium roles can now become healers with the H+ Infuser and the Healing Emitter. The Medium players gain an offensive edge with the Breach Drill, a device that blinds adversaries and creates openings in walls.
Here’s the list of the new gadgets available in THE FINALS season seven:
- H+ Infuser (Light): A rapid-support gadget providing burst healing for accurate hits.
- Breach Drill (Medium): Attaches to surfaces and blasts through walls, emitting a blinding flash.
- Healing Emitter (Heavy): A stationary healing area effect that bolsters defensive positions.
Legacy Battle Passes
In addition to the latest battle pass, players can now acquire old battle passes to claim missed rewards. Access the Legacy Battle Passes section, select your desired battle pass, and purchase it for 1,150 Multibucks (you will automatically have access to the battle passes if you bought them during the original season).
Currently, battle passes from seasons one to four are available for purchase. The season five battle pass will be accessible in season eight, while the season six battle pass will arrive in season nine.
Practice Range Challenges
To enhance gameplay abilities, the practice range now features challenges. A special area on the left side of the range offers three challenge options with varying difficulties: Easy, Medium, or Hard. Shoot the targets and warm up your aim before stepping into competitive play.
Balancing Changes
As is customary with a new season, notable balancing changes have been implemented to refresh the gameplay dynamics. Here are the most significant adjustments in THE FINALS season seven:
- Anti-Gravity Cube: Cooldown reduced from 35 to 28 seconds.
- APS Turret: Health consumption per projectile decreased to 20 percent, allowing a full APS to block five projectiles instead of four.
- Flashbang: The falloff angle has been expanded, lessening effects when looking away. The radial check was reduced from three to one meter.
- Goo Grenade: The goo wall size has been decreased from 2×6 to 2×5, and goo blob health has been lowered from 300 to 240.
- Cerberus: Damage per pellet reduced from 10 to nine, thereby lowering full shot damage from 110 to 99.
- KS-23: Environmental damage increased from 700 to 1000.
- LH1: Damage has risen from 40 to 42.
- Sledgehammer: Primary attack damage reduced from 115 to 100, and secondary attacks from 200 to 154.
Furthermore, season seven introduces a reworked destruction system, enhanced visual feedback and physics response, clearer collapse signals, console chat, seasonal sponsors, and a new Recruit and Rise program for onboarding newcomers. Check the official patch notes for a complete list of balancing changes and updates.
