NAVI will compete at the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational, marking the first international League of Legends tournament appearance in the Ukrainian organization’s history. As Cybersport In reports, citing CyberNEWS, NAVI secured their place at the event following the conclusion of their LEC 2026 Summer playoff campaign.
NAVI faced Movistar KOI in the lower bracket with a place at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship on the line. The Ukrainian organization lost the series 1–3, ending its bid to qualify for Worlds 2026.
Earlier in the playoffs, NAVI defeated GIANTX 3–2. The team had finished the LEC Summer group stage with a 5–4 record.
Despite missing out on Worlds, the result opened another international opportunity for NAVI. The team qualified for the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational, where it will face representatives from several major League of Legends regions.
Demacia Cup Global Invitational to Feature 12 Teams
The 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational is scheduled to run from October 3 to 17. A total of 12 teams representing six regions will take part in the tournament. The competition will offer a prize pool of 1.5 million Chinese yuan, approximately $223,000.
Among the teams already confirmed for the event are Team Vitality, LGD Gaming, FEARX, KT Rolster, Team WE, BRION, JD Gaming and GAM Esports.
The tournament will begin with an online stage. The eight best-performing teams will then advance to the playoffs in Beijing.
The champions will receive 600,000 yuan, approximately $89,200. The runners-up will earn 400,000 yuan, while each semifinalist will receive 175,000 yuan.

NAVI are expected to compete at the Demacia Cup Global Invitational with the following lineup:

The appearance will mark a new milestone for NAVI’s League of Legends project and give the roster its first opportunity to represent the organization at an international LoL tournament.
For NAVI, owned by Ukrainian businessman Maksym Krippa, the qualification also expands the club’s international presence beyond the esports disciplines in which the organization has traditionally been best known.
While NAVI fell short of reaching Worlds 2026, the Demacia Cup Global Invitational will allow the team to continue its season against opponents from outside the European competitive scene.
